FAQ

Aren’t all foods clean?

To eat what is only Biblically defined as food for man (Leviticus 11). This is a commandment of God.

Acts 10 states that the true interpretation of Peter's vision is that Gentiles are not unclean, which was a common misconception in Peter's day.

6/11/23 - Bill Grammentz

Shalom Everyone. Exciting news and Praise to Yah our Father in heaven from the Thumb area near Caro, MI.

We’ve been praying, searching and trying to move with the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) for maybe a year now in terms of what the future of our home fellowship will look like - if anything - in light of some septic issues, space concerns and the continued inquiries for a local fellowship here in the thumb area. After working with the Pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Caro MI, as of today we’ve booked the small facility with A/V, a kitchen, nursery and a few offices for three future Sabbath services on a trial sort of basis, 1 Sabbath in August and 2 in September with a positive expectation,

If everything works out, we will rent the first and third Shabbat of every month - as long as Yah directs. The second Sabbath will be a break to just rest or to visit other fellowships with the fourth Sabbath being our Community Shabbat with BFF (Bible Family Fellowship) and other fellowships in Burton MI.

So… we are officially announcing an invite to our Thumb Torah and Testimony fellowship which has yet to be named because it’s just been the Grammentz’s house up to this point. (any suggestions?) We know several families have been looking in the area and I’m praying this message finds you. Please reach out to me or Michelle Grammentz and RSVP for more information.

The dates are August 19th, September 2nd (Labor day weekend) and September 16th (Yom Teruah Weekend). The address is: Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1400 Cleaver Rd., Caro MI 48723. https://g.co/kgs/gh6Z1jWe’ll be starting at 1 PM with doors opening at 12 for some extra fellowship and setup time. Services last about 2 hours and we’ll have a fellowship meal afterwards followed by an optional Midrash or more fellowship as time permits.

Bring a dish to pass (Lev 11) and note anything specific about your Dish like Gluten or Sugar free. Some of us eat only Non-GMO and/or Organic so we’ll just figure all this out as we serve each other in love, patience and understanding. Come with or without food, we just want to see you there.

We are different in that we mostly use Videos for our Praise and worship, testimonies, children’s study and sermons/teachings/Torah portions. Again, just reach out for more information and questions. I know it seems like a long ways off, but please keep all this in prayer as we move forward. Shalom in Yeshua.
